With 40 years of experience in nail manufacturing, Duchesne is able to define and control its production standards. While respecting the ASTM F 1667 standard, we’ve set high standards of performance and quality. So each day, we perform very strict product controls. Samples are taken during manufacturing to evaluate the following aspects:
- compliance of the shank, head, point and length
- accelerated corrosion in saline environments
- the alloy’s properties

The physical characteristics of nails are continuously checked with the greatest precision. We have implemented rigorous quality standards, which are enforced daily through strict process controls. Samples are collected during the production process and are evaluated for, among other things:
- The angle of the nails
- The adhesiveness of the paper strips
- The sturdiness of the plastic, paper and wired fasteners
- The symmetry of the nail coils
