High-Compatibility Concept

Every type of TopGun by Duchesne^TM nails has been designed in light of the characteristics and technical specifications of nailers such as Bostitch, Hitachi, Paslode, Porter Cable, Senco, and many more.

Integrating High-Compatibility Concept criteria, the development of TopGun by Duchesne^TM nails includes an analysis of the technical characteristics of these nailers and the use of testing benches for evaluating the performance of nails during the development process.

Top Precision PRODUCTION

The physical characteristics of nails are continuously checked with the greatest precision. We have implemented demanding quality standards. To ensure compliance with these, we conduct strict product controls on a daily basis. Samples are lifted from the production equipment to evaluate characteristics such as:

• the angle of the nails
• the adhesiveness of the paper strips
• the sturdiness of the plastic and paper
collators
• the symmetry of the nail coils, etc.

In addition, we conduct daily tests using several brands of nailers.

Top Performance COATING

TopGun by Duchesne^TM nails are covered with a high-performance coating that increases their penetration coefficient, maximizing speed of entry into the materials. The Top Performance coating also improves nails’ resistance to removal by 15%.

Top Quality PROTECTIVE FINISHES

We offer four types of finishes that allow you to choose the TopGun by Duchesne^TM nail best suited to the job at hand:

• Bright finish

The nail’s natural finish. Ideal for indoor uses requiring no corrosion resistance.

• Electro-galvanized finish

Finish resulting from a coating of zinc applied to nail through electrolysis. Ideal for indoor uses requiring minimal corrosion resistance.

• Hot dip galvanized finish

Finish obtained from immersion in a basin of molten zinc for superior corrosion resistance. Lends itself remarkably well to the full range of outdoor applications, including ACQ pressure-treated lumber.

• Galvanized with dichromate finish

Finish obtained from the application of a coat of zinc covered with dichromate. Lends itself remarkably well to a wide range of outdoor applications, including ACQ pressure-treated lumber.

Tests have shown that Duchesne’s dichromate finish provides superior corrosion resistance. Less expensive than hot dip galvanized nails, Duchesne’s galvanized with dichromate nails deliver excellent performance along with an outstanding quality-price ratio.
